My family has lived in Sherwood for more than 115 years and I’ve watched my hometown grow along with the greater Portland metro area. Despite the changes over time, Sherwood is still a wonderful community and a great place to raise a family. I want to see it stay that way. That’s why I supported the city council’s efforts to plan for an expansion of the urban growth boundary — to plan for the future of the town I grew up in and love.
Unfortunately, that same city council, along with a newly minted mayor, appears to be changing its mind.
